Anthony Ma is principal and founder of Tanagram, one of the first design firms to embrace technology and the internet, setting standards for the rest of the design profession. The first corporate website, the first interactive presentation, and the first interactive laptop tool designed by Tanagram during the mid-1990s were all award winners in significant national design competitions, adding to their widely recognized print and corporate identity solutions.

Ma currently teaches design at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He has lectured at Northern Illinois University; University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and Chicago; Northern Iown University; Ray Vogue College of Design, Chicago; and Columbia University, New York. He has served as a panelist at the American Institute of Graphic Arts (Education Committee); American Center for Design (Design Management Seminar); and Apple Computer, Inc. (Technology Seminar). He earned a BFA in graphic design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
