Student Support

Resources abound at UIC. From peer networks, tutoring services, and opportunities for social and cultural growth, to our office of financial aid and our wellness and counseling centers, this list outlines a multitude of resources available to CADA students. In addition, our faculty and staff, particularly our academic advisors, are your best resources. For more information about the many people and services available to assist you, call the Office of Student Affairs, 312-996-3351, or email your academic advisor.

It is not unusual for students to experience stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. If you are experiencing any mental health issues, we strongly encourage you to reach out to the UIC Counseling Center for help. Make an appointment here or call 312-996-3490.

In partnership with the Jane Addams College of Social Work, CADA now offers a Wellness Specialist, assisting students facing various challenges, connecting them to relevant resources, offering short-term counseling, or both. These resources span mental health services and essential needs like housing and food. The wellness specialist works to improve overall mental health and well-being by promoting wellness, crisis prevention, and accessible care.
