Conrad Bakker is an Associate Professor of Art and MFA Studio Chair for the School of Art and Design at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. Bakker s ongoing series of Untitled Projects engage the careful construction, and specific placement, of carved and painted objects so as to elucidate, and also criticize, the everyday economies between persons, things, and spaces.</
