Cydney Lewis: Reflection
Gallery 400
400 South Peoria Street, Chicago, IL 60607
Cydney Lewis
Cydney Lewis sources discarded and found materials in her environment to create collages and sculptural assemblages that address Black consumer culture in the south side of Chicago. Between commutes or spending her downtime, Lewis uses a phone app to layer her hand-cut collages with digital drawings. Her Streetside project illustrates the states of reflection and renewal experienced.
