Join Gallery 400, the Jane Addams-Hull House, and the UIC Disability Cultural Center (DCC) for a virtual tour of Contemporary Ex-Votos: Devotion Beyond Medium.

Led by curator Dr. Emmanuel Ortega and DCC Director Margaret Fink, the tour explores ex-votos, a type of small devotional painting created as a testament of gratitude. Exhibited across Gallery 400 and the Jane Addams-Hull House Museum, Contemporary Ex-Votos combines 19th- and 20th-century ex-votos with the work of contemporary Latinx artists considering devotion and resilience.
