For one night only, Chicago-based game makers and new media artists Cat Bluemke, Ali Krouse, and Whitney Pow present video games that creatively rework, remix, and respond to specific pieces exhibited in Chicago New Media 1973-1992. By re-fashioning artworks from the exhibition, the event illustrates how conversations within Chicago new media history span generations.

Cat Bluemke is an MFA student in Design for Emerging Technologies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her practice explores the design of culture and technology.

Whitney Pow is a Chicago-based Ph.D. candidate at Northwestern in Screen Cultures. They are also a graphic designer, game designer, and writer.

Ali Krouse is a trans woman indie developer who makes video games for the LGBT community and sometimes just Very Weird Things.
