Talk to Me Like the Rain and Let Me Listen tells the story of 2 characters, Man and Woman, and the lives built from their desperation. 

The Blueberry Blues (Staged Reading)
Written by Alyssa Morales

The Blueberry Blues is an original play in two acts about a princess that falls in love with her childhood best friend. Due to status, the young couple is forbidden from being together. Desperate times call for desperate measures… What are you willing to do for love?

Sis|ters (Staged Reading)
Written by Angelina Davila

The one-act original play Sis|ters, centers around the push and pull relationship between sisters, Monica and Chloe. The truth both girls have been hiding starts to slip as they wait for the results of a pregnancy test at 2am. 

Leaves (Staged Reading)
Written by Natalia Rivera 

Leaves is a one-act original play following the story of Melanie who lost her mother, and Angel who is trying to get right with God. While the two navigate each other’s past and present circumstances, they end up discovering that they are more alike than previously thought. 

Snack Run (Screening)
Written and Directed by Aisha Romer

Snack Run is a short film about a group of friends who embark on a late journey to 7/11, and things get a bit creepy.

Down Tremendous
Written and Directed by Stephen Decker

Down Tremendous is a two-person staged short new work. This collection of scenes follow the relationship of two college students, and the awkwardness that follows.

Spoon Theory (Staged Reading)
Written by Xela Rosas

Spoon Theory is an original one-act play centered around Ryland, who is struggling with the idea that she might be autistic. Her best friend, Kai, helps her out as much as he can while struggling with his own inner turmoil.

The Groove (Improvised Stage Play)
Founded by Jon Fonseca

De La Nada Theatre makes its way onto the stage for the first time ever. The Groove, De La Nada’s Improv troupe, will perform an improvised stage play. This once-in-a-lifetime stage play will be brought to life with the help of you, our audience.
