UIC movement professor Rachelle Tsachor took learning international, teaching two courses in Israel this summer.

She started the summer teaching a three-day intensive movement workshop at the Israeli Integrative Center for Groups at Wingate College in Netanya—the center trains professionals to integrate arts into their work with groups in Israel. Rachelle returned in July to coordinate and teach the third semester intensive of Israel's first Certification Program in Laban Movement Studies, the program she founded in 2014. The graduate level 500 hour professional training program is delivered by master teachers in six international locations, in 120 hour/three-week intensive training modules, followed by a thesis project and professional mentorship.
