Build a strong resource base to enable action toward the goals of this strategic plan
CADA must expand greatly the critical resources needed to execute the strategic plan and to sustain and elevate its work.
A. Increase our financial resources through fundraising, funded research, and strategic academic program growth
Create a multi-year plan for increased philanthropic support with achievable goals for a capital campaign including the college endowment. This plan should include corporate, foundation, and individual funding sources; strategies for faculty and alumni engagement in fundraising; and steps towards realizing the planned Center for the Arts.
Advocate for research funding at the university level, and within the college create strategic investments in research application support and grant management for funded research.
Develop plans for academic programs which will lead to greater financial health for the college without any sacrifice in disciplinary integrity and excellence.

B. Develop a shared identity and culture for the college
Develop physical facilities equal to and supportive of the excellent work of the college faculty, students, and staff, and that reflect our commitment to sustainability.
Create a clear, sophisticated, and unified visual identity and communications to enable the broadcast of CADA’s excellence.
Promote a culture of care and collaboration for students, faculty, and staff.

C. Strengthen CADA’s administrative team
Match the staff’s capacity and experience to the needs of the college and the schools in human resources, finance, communications, information technology, facilities management, and advancement and grants administration.
Continue to train and develop staff to improve consistency, quality, and efficiency across the college in utilizing systems, executing policies, and maintaining compliance.

D. Enhance our technological infrastructure
Assess areas for improvement in our technological infrastructure to enhance teaching, learning, ease of
