The UIC Wind Ensemble’s Fall Concert Of Our New Day Begun  features works by Omar Thomas, Nicole Piunno, Holst, Persichetti, Grainger, and Williams.  

The Wind Ensemble’s repertoire spans from the Middle Ages to the most refined 21st century music. Championing the performance of new music, the ensemble has begun a rich history of commissioning the rising stars of composition. The Wind Ensemble hosts acclaimed guest composers, conductors, and artists annually. 

All of our concerts are FREE and open to the public.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
CTA Blue Line to UIC-Halsted. There are 3 exits from this platform. Take the far west exit with the long ramp (towards Morgan Street). There are also CTA buses (#7 and #60) that stop directly in front of our building.
