2026 Youth Program – No public performance

UIC will host our Choral Festival on Friday, February 13, 2026 at UIC Student Center East (750 S Halsted St.) from 9am-3pm.

The choral festival will consist of:

1. Singing together – combined singing with hundreds of high schoolers and the UIC Choirs.
2. Learning together – student and teacher PD tracks, discussions, master classes with featured guest artist – Elizabeth Swanson(opens in new window), UIC voice faculty, and the faculty from our newest degree: MUSIC EDUCATION AT UIC(opens in new window) – preparing students for rewarding careers as culturally responsive music teachers in large urban school districts.
3. Belonging together – joining your colleagues, friends, and students in a special day of music-making.
