2024-2025 Walter A. Netsch Scholarships awarded
The School of Architecture’s 2024-2025 recipients of the Walter A. Netsch Scholarship are Pamela Flores, Isabel Cabrera, Abigail Serban, Mae Lopez, and Theodore Woessner.
The Netsch Scholarship, endowed by the late Walter Netsch and Dawn Clark Netsch, is awarded to continuing undergraduate students who have demonstrated high academic achievement in architecture.
Walter Netsch was a Chicago architect with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. He employed his “field theory” of architecture in designing much of UIC’s campus in the 1960’s, including the Architecture and Design Studios building, Behavioral Science Building, and Science and Engineering South buildings.
