Wheeler Kearns selected for Crystal Bridges Museum project
Wheeler Kearns Architects, co-founded and led by Professor Dan Wheeler, was selected to design the recently announced new outpost for Crystal Bridges Museum in Bentonville, Arkansas. The project will consist of the extensive adaptive re-use of a former Kraft cheese plant into a space suitable for the Museum's contemporary art collection. Slated to wrap up in 2018, the project also aims to help revitalize the downtown area of Bentonville. A NYTimes article about the announcement can be found here.
