“Sometimes a nicer sculpture is to be able to provide a living for your family.”
-Ben Kinmont, 1998 ongoing
Join us for a gathering of prominent artists, educators, dealers, and collectors to share visions of possible futures for an ecology of art and economics. Guests are invited to take the microphone and engage in a poetic and political exchange on the future of economies, artists, and the practices of art making.

-Andy Warhol
Art can open up space in dialogue for imagined realities as well as practical strategies. Marcel Duchamp worked as a librarian and later sold Brancusi s work to make a living, while refusing to be dependent on sales of his own work.
-Anton Vidokle, Art without Market, Art without Education: Political Economy of Art
