UIC School of Design Samina Quraeshi Traveling Fellowship Fund

The UIC School of Design and the Shepard Quraeshi Family are proud to announce the Samina Quraeshi Traveling Fellowship. The fund is named in memorial of the celebrated educator, designer, artist, and author: Samina Quraeshi.

Born in Mumbai, raised in Karachi, and educated at the Kansas City Art Institute and Yale University, Quraeshi practiced for many years in the Boston-area graphic design and architecture studio Shepard/Quraeshi Associates, which she formed in 1975 with her partner and husband Richard Shepard.
